eighth lesson
today i ran into my first problem , i cut my layers too small nooooooooo! SO this lesson i spent redoing my fist and second layer which was really difficult because i had to keep waiting for the tinsnips [ i hate problems] Anyway i managed to to re-do my firstt layer which by the way is perfect. Though i swear someone muddles with the time while were doing Design futures because it feels like its ten minutes, also i spotted a little crack in the wood so i sanded that back. Thus i got through a fair bit but i am determined o finish all my layers next lesson
seventh lesson
This lesson i achieved what i set out to do which was to finish sanding and filling and start to cut out my first layer. I probably spent more time on filling and sanding than i would have liked though its one of the important things that need to be done as if the wood doesn't match up with the photo disaster will strike. Although i did finish cutting out the first layer which was a success so i did complete everything i wanted today so it was a successful lesson also i hoping i am not going to run into any problems as i know some people have.
Sixth lesson
Finally i was first to get my clock cut out so i got off to a really good start and went straight to filing it,the reason why we have to file the wood is because that Mr Andrews cant carve out all the fine details of the clock also its to get a better shape such as round corners ect. already i have caught up to everyone in the class and i spent this lesson filling and sanding back my clock which i rather enjoy , though to anyone who is reading this i think we need some chairs because hunching over for 50 mins really hurts your back as well as being bad for your posture. I am pretty much done filling and sanding though i might spend around half and hour finishing up all the minor bits next lesson , overall it was a very productive hour. Cant wait to the next lesson Maddy.
fifth lesson
today was the first lesson in the workshop, which was a complete waste of time as when Mr Andrew and finished speaking about was going on this lesson i spent the rest of the time waiting in a line to get my wood cut out so it would line up with my photograph. But i guess thats because it was the first lesson in the workshop and there are 21 of us and only 1 of Mr Andrews to cut all our wood. Although the thing i found most annoying is that the person in front of me 'Daisy' had just finished getting her wood cut and i was next accept that the bell rang so that was all did this lesson.
P.S I hope I get more done next lesson

Fourth lesson
Today was rather successful as I managed to print out my pictures of my design which takes a while as everyone needs to and there is only one printer. Though I did have some trouble with the size of the picture as the original size was much too small, so after about ten goes with the printer I finally accomplished the perfect size. At first I thought deciding on how I would do my layers would be difficult but after I broke it down into the actually layers I discovered that it was as easy as it looked so now I will be ready to go into the workshop by lesson five which is fantastic! I have my fingers crossed that everyone has been able to complete all the tasks set so we can enter the workshop as I am really excited to take the next step and really put my clock to life. Overall I think I accomplished a lot this lesson as after I had finished designing my layers I had time to research materials that I might be able to use for the construction of my clock also I found out that I can use googly eyes on my clock which I think will look fully cute on my baby pandas face as-well as making the yes really stand out. This picture is what my clock will look like as I am only doing the face of the original photoh in my last post.

Third lesson
Though I originally wanted to chose the babby panda lying on a branch for my clock design I discovered that it would be to difficult of a design ,so I am going with anothother photoof a baby panda that's more appropriate for the limited amount of time which we have to construct our clocks. I did manage to plan the process I will be doing to construct my layers which is good also I printed my design out ,however it was much too small so I did it another three or four times but it still wasn't big enough so next lesson I'll have to make sure I am first to the printer as we have to go into the workshop next week and I have to prepared in order to make that deadline. Also if Iam not ready by that lesson no one else will be able to go so there's a but of pressure to make sure I accomplish everything I need to do in order to go in the workshop.

Second lesson
I had my second lesson today of design futures and now Iam starting to realize that I am a little behind the others as I have missed a week of school ,though with the help of Mr Andrews I will definetly be able to catch up to everyone else and still get my clock done in time aswell. So far I have thought of three designs ; first I thought of doing a cute babby panda bear with ears sticking out of the clock, then I thought of doing a ferist wheel and sticking glitter objects on it to make it look like it would be moving, and finally I thought of doing the sea in one of those tropical places to make it look as if you could swim in it. I maganged to comnplete the engurd tests with ease after Mr Andrews talked to us about what we would be doing which to me sounds like a lot of fun. So far I have found design futures exiting even though I am only on my second lesson and i will probably get very fustrated if there is a problem with my design or while I am constructing my clock as I would hate to do it again and become more behind , though that is hopefully not a problem I will come across in my near future. Although with my first idea the baby panda bear I am concered that it may be difficult o get the ears to stick out of the clock without damage being done. Overall it was a rather productive lesson.
